Healthy Changes Counseling Associates, PLLC is a growing company. We have been in the mental Health field for approximately 20+ years. We have been in private practice for approximately 10 years. We have a very talented group of therapists delivering exceptional services:
Ola Hardiman, MSW, LCSW –Ola works with adults as well as with children and adolescents. Ola’s special interest is in Mindfulness, being in the moment and utilizing that philosophy for stress management and expanding her Hypnotherapy practice. Ola has been training in Hypnotherapy since 2003, with particular interest in utilizing hypnotherapy for pain management. Ola specializes in working with Childhood sexual abuse survivors, trauma, grief/loss, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and Eating Disorders. Ola also runs the Adolescent and Adult DBT groups.
Shane Severt, MSW, LCSW – Shane is trained in EMDR and has utilized this mode of therapy very successfully with his clients. He is also experienced in Substance Abuse Treatment. Shane is also proficient in the Mindfulness strategies. He has special interest in working with Trauma, depression, assertiveness skills, self-esteem issues, and Anxiety.
Marjorie McDonald, MSW, LCSW – Marjorie is a seasoned therapist who has special interest in working with women and women’s issues. She has worked with adolescents and adults. She also works well with parenting issues and life management to parenting adolescents. She has extensive work experience in general mental health and wellbeing, addressing depressive symptoms, anxiety symptoms, and works well with adolescent and adult women dealing with childhood trauma.
Mónica Estrada, MSW, LCSW – Mónica is a bilingual/bicultural therapist who provides psychotherapy and psychoeducational services to individuals, couples, families, and the community. She specializes in working with women's issues, victim's of domestic and sexual violence, human traficking, trauma, depression, anxiety, anger control issues, and grief/loss. Mónica has extensive clinical training in Latin America as well as in the United States. Mónica's expertise in immigrant issues helps individuals and families acquire in-depth understanding of the multi-generational trauma as well as the gains and tradeoff inherent in the immagration/acculturation journey.

Gloria Umbach, RN, LCSW – Gloria is a seasoned Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a background in Nursing. She works with children, adolescents, and adults. She provides individual, couples and family therapy. She has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She is comfortable working with a diverse group of individuals dealing with stressors of life, as well as depression, anxiety, women's issues, trauma, and history of sexual abuse. She utilizes play therapy with children. She is also very experienced in working with Mindfulness and Imagery, and is well-versed in positive uses of these strategies that are gaining a positive foothold in modern treatment.
She is able to provide an initial appointment in one week or less. The initial appointment will involve information gathering and she hopes to provide you with some coping strategies at the end of the session and look forward to follow up appointments. If needed she is available to you by telephone to answer any questions you may have regarding clarification of using the strategies during the time period in-between appointments.
